Carbon fiber takes form

The refined design of the Maserati GranTurismo MC represents the ideal synthesis of aerodynamics and style. The marque’s distinctive radiator grill, prominently positioned between two distinctive headlamps, is topped by the long, carbon fiber engine hood with its aggressive central air intake and two side air vents, derived from those used on the race-track prepared GranTurismo MC Trofeo.

A unique design that brings the spirit of the track to the street

Aerodynamics are integral to the harmonious design

The beauty of functional design, with no frills

The large opening in the engine hood is a functional feature that enhances the car’s aerodynamics, adding character to the front of the car. The elegant bodywork is expressed by sinuous lines that direct the air through the front spoiler, through the slots in the front fenders, along the contoured sideskirts and all the way to the rear extractor, creating downforce and leaving an indelible impression on those who glimpse its form.

An aggressive stance, front and rear

The rear of the Maserati GranTurismo MC is immediately recognizable, with centrally located exhausts framed by the massive extractor designed to ensure efficient outflow from under the body. With the addition of DRL (Daytime Running Lights) LED technology, the front headlights are finished in purposeful matte black, while the tail lights, also featuring LED lamps, sport an exclusive burnished finish.

The gleam of a sporting pedigree

The dynamic look of the exterior is enhanced by the 20-inch Trofeo Design wheels, a signature of the Maserati GranTurismo MC. As well as being lighter in weight than other wheels, they highlight the Maserati tradition with a spoke design that references the Maserati Trident. A stylish finishing touch is provided by the triple-layer Grigio Lava (Pearl Grey) paintwork, an iridescent shade that changes with the light.

Four luxurious seats for a thrilling motoring experience

While its history reflect all the characteristics of a fast, powerful, lightweight car bred for competition, the Maserati GranTurismo MC features a luxurious four-seat interior that delivers the same levels of comfort and spaciousness as the other models in the GranTurismo range.

More space than ever before

The interior offers unprecedented comfort for a car inspired by the race-track world, where spaciousness is routinely sacrificed for performance. The special rear shell of the front seats, upholstered in black leather and available on request in the same color as the seats, or in carbon fiber, affords additional legroom to those sitting in the rear seats, whose design mirrors the style of the front seats.

Ergonomic sport seats

The racing-style seats with integral headrests are designed to offer the best driving position and a high level of lateral restraint, together with unbeatable comfort. Soft Italian Premium leather is combined with a central section in a special Alcantara® upholstery, inspired by the functional design of race car interiors. Fine stitching around the edges of the backrest highlights the exquisite craftsmanship of the seats.

Alcantara® for a racing “feel”

To convey the unmistakable “feel” of a race-car interior, lavish use of Alcantara® covers a variety of surfaces, from the central console to the doors and the instrument panel brow, all with exquisite detail stitching. The racing connection is also emphasised by the Nero Soft finish used on the hard trim, including the special bezel underneath the front seat headrests.

New, simpler interface

A high performance car like the Maserati GranTurismo MC requires an immediate, intuitive interface: the Sport and Race buttons on the central console allow the car’s handling to be quickly optimized for different conditions. The new, longer Trofeo Design gearshift paddles afford maximum control of gear changes on the tightest turns, while the perforated aluminium pedals give a better driving “feel” and optimum control of the accelerator and brake.

A race-inspired steering wheel

The three-spoke steering wheel, upholstered in leather and Alcantara®, has been designed for improved control and a more ergonomic grip; the upper and lower sections have also been flattened for better clearance. The evolution of the interior has also transformed the instrument panel, where Maserati’s traditional blue background has been replaced by high-function black, with completely revised white graphics.

Architecture and technology borrowed from the world of racing

The Maserati GranTurismo MC is the most exciting, high-performance model in the GranTurismo range, thanks to a powerful engine and aerodynamic styling.

Thrilling power underfoot

The unmistakable roar from the exhaust comes from the famed 4.7-liter Maserati V8 engine, delivering a maximum power of 454 HP at 7,000 rpm. The torque, increased to 384 lb-ft at 4,750 rpm, makes this engine’s thrust and elasticity felt at once, while its throaty baritone is underlined by the opening of the bypass valves in Sport mode.

A really “hands-on” gearbox

The six-speed automatic gearbox of the Maserati GranTurismo MC features auto-adaptive software that automatically responds to driving style and road conditions, adapting the gearshifting mode accordingly. It uses MC Auto Shift technology, which operates in a variety of ways depending on performance parameters.

Lower sport setup

The suspension settings of the GranTurismo MC are 10 mm lower and they have been conceived and developed with the aid of racetrack technology. The springs and dampers have been stiffened to restrict lateral load transfers, while the stabilizer bar diameter has been increased from 24 to 25 mm at the front and from 21 to 23 mm at the rear to reduce the roll angle and gradient and to optimize handling.

Light, high-performance brakes

The braking system of the Maserati GranTurismo MC makes the most of Brembo dual-cast technology with discs crafted from cast iron and aluminium. This brings the weight down by 15% to 20%, while offering enhanced performance and less overall wear. The system comprises six-piston monobloc calipers up front and four-piston calipers in the rear, paired with drilled, slotted discs. This design provides more predictable braking performance and reduces braking distance, especially on wet surfaces.

Tailoring the GranTurismo MC to your taste is just as thrilling as driving it

Few relationships between man and machine are as close as those between driver and automobile. The Maserati GranTurismo MC, with its strong links to the world of competition, embraces this philosophy by enabling many aspects of the car to be customized to individual tastes and requirements. The wide selection of details, colors and materials make every car truly unique, the genuine expression of its driver’s personality.

Personalization with the MC Sport Line

The specific MC Sport Line personalization packages for the Maserati GranTurismo MC are designed to highlight the car’s competition lineage, through the extensive use of carbon fiber inside and out. In both cases, the features available have been developed in the racing world and reflect the competitive spirit of Maserati Corse.

Carbon fiber, shaped by the wind

The MC Sport Line personalizations for the exterior can be completed with a package that includes a carbon fiber rear spoiler, door handles and rear-view mirror casings, to which 20-inch, shiny black Neptune Design wheel rims can also be added. For an even more unique and sporting look, the carbon fiber engine hood, which is colored to match the bodywork as standard, can be left unpainted.

Carbon fiber for a wide array of interior details

Options for the interior include carbon fiber door sills sporting the MC Sport Line logo, carbon fiber central console, gear-shift paddles, the instrument panel surround, the rear shell of the front seats, the steering wheel covering and the panel moldings. Completing the racing package are MC Design pedals in perforated aluminium.
